we are all neighbors in this close-knit village; when a family cooks an especially grand supper, the smell steals into every household and we all gather to have a taste. Everyone wakes up at the break of dawn and the entire village is bustling with activity before 7:00 am. After school, the kids often play in the river, which is only semi-deep and has clear and refreshing water rushing through 24/7. The mushroom is our shelter from the rain and heat.
